Emmett (newborn)

It was really fun to see how much i have learned since the last newborn shoot! i definitely think i improved a lot! check back at the last newborn shoot HERE and let me know what you think!

now here is the pictures of Emmett, he is actually a month old already but these were taken when he was 5 days old

 i was lucky that he was up for some of the time! its fun to see newborns awake!

 i do believe this one is my absolute favorite!! look at the cute little nose!

 the whole time she was asking "when is it my turn" haha so i let her jump in for a couple pictures!

 just something about those curled little baby toes!

Blossoms and Butterflies

i think the butterflies hatched recently! there was a TON of them flying around the plum blossoms and  grass today! picture perfect!

i was out there for a long time with a goal of getting a picture of one flying.  They are much faster than you would think, i was just about to give up when i noticed one sitting on a branch close to my head. And this one i actually got in mid-flight! Mission accomplished!

I had asked Ayla if she would be willing to model for me, and i am so glad that she agreed!

after i went through all the pictures i realized that a lot of the pictures, i had her not smile. Don't think she does not smile often hahah... she is a really smiley happy person! but when i realized she could pull off the straight face so well i took advantage of it! not most people can pull of the serious face so well!

Eric and Mara (Engagement)

I had my very first engagement session recently! i really enjoyed it. i can't believe how much i learned just from this one session!  I can't wait for the next one to put everything i learned from this one to the test!

Mara had told me before the session that the place where we held this session was actually where they went on their first date.  Kinda fun to go somewhere that means something to the couple!

this picture was actually taken during an exposure check, but it turned out to be one of my favorites!

for these pictures i told them to pretend that they were sitting in front of their first house! haha
